O Golden Globe Awards ainda nem esfriou e no próximo domingo (13) teremos mais outra cerimonia de premiações do cinema e televisão. É o 24º Edition Critics Choice Awards.

A associação de jornalistas de cinema e televisão irá premiar neste fim de semana, os melhores trabalhos empanhados pela sétima arte no ano de 2018.

O longa “A Favorita”, estrelado por Olivia Colman e Emma Stone, é o líder de indicações, concorrendo a 14 categorias – entre eles, Melhor Filme, Melhor Atriz, Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante e Melhor Diretor e Melhor Elenco. “Pantera Negra” recebeu 12 indicações, seguido por “O Primeiro Homem”, com dez. “O Retorno de Mary Poppins”, “Nasce Uma Estrela” e “Vice” também se destacam no ranking com nove indicações cada.

Olhos atentos também para Alfonso Cuarón, que no Golden Globe da semana passada ganhou nas três categorias a que concorreu e agora chega com mais quatro indicações (Melhor Diretor, Melhor Roteiro Original, Melhor Direção de Fotografia e Melhor edição).

Bradley Cooper, que recebeu sua primeira indicação ao prêmio de Melhor Diretor por “Nasce uma Estrela”, também concorre a Melhor Ator e Melhor Roteiro Adaptado. Nessas últimas duas categorias, Cooper concorre com Spike Lee, pelo trabalho em “Infiltrado na Klan”.

Nos últimos anos o Choice Awards tem se destacado por ser uma espécie de termômetro para o OSCARS. Será então que agora teremos uma nova era de horarias à super herois?! Lembrando que Birdman foi o primeiro longa de herois a ganhar o prêmio de melhor filme no Oscar (2015).

Na premiação para TV, as duas séries vencedoras no Globo de Ouro The Americans e The Assassination of Gianni Versace, estão empatadas com cinco indicações cada . Confira a lista dos indicados.
